Heart of the Homeless Events
Our events are dedicated to giving back to the homeless community. We aim to connect volunteers with the homeless in KW to show that there are endless opportunities to serve.
Live to Give Projects of 2024
Volunteers and members of HearTH come together to host large donations and charitable events. They serve the community by donating clothing, preparing meals, creating aids, and interacting with the community.
Clothing Drive
August 2024 - A group of university students came together to donate bags of clothing to A Better Tent City community.
Bundle Up Project
December 2024 - Bundle up in blankets! Warm blankets were donated to ABTC to support the homeless community during harsh winters.
Food for Friends
December 2023 - Students came together to pack sandwiches, granola bars, and juice box meals for the tent city on 100 Victoria St.
Community Volunteering
HearTH connects volunteers with several external homeless housing programs where they can experience first-hand what the shelter system looks like.
Future Events
Join our team and contribute to the many events we run each year. We will be hosting an event every month in 2025. More information will be posted to the site, and on our social media pages.
